This section will walk you through the process of charging your batteries. The X55 supports a variety of different battery configurations. Please reach out to info@arcskytech.com if your battery/charger is not represented in this section.
Plug the AS150 to XT90 adapter cable and balance cable into the charger
Repeat this on the other side of the charger.
Plug the battery XT90 connector into the XT90 port of the adapter cable, and plug the balance cable to the battery as shown. These connectors can only fit in one orientation.
Set the mode to Charge by pressing the “Mode” button.
Press and hold the “Start/Stop” button until the status is showing Charging.
The battery is now charging, and you should hear the fan running.
The charger will stop charging when the battery is fully charged.
Power off the charger and unplug the battery from the charger.
Please pay close attention to the mode setting, and only use the LiHV 4.45 setting for High Voltage Li-ion batteries. Incorrect battery charging voltage could damage the battery and potentially cause a fire.
Plug the battery into the XT90 connector port on the charger.
Plug the balance cable into the balance board.
Turn on the charger.
Make sure the charger is set to the LiHV 4.45 mode.
We recommend charging the battery at 1C. For example, if you have a 16000mah LiHV battery, you can charge at 15A. But oftentimes, the charge current rate is limited by the maximum power output of the charger.
Press and hold the Start/Stop button until the LED turns red. The battery is now charging, and you should see the voltage of each cell on the LED display.
The Start/Stop button LED will turn green when the charging is completed.
Turn off the charger and remove the battery from the charger.
