Download Offline Maps via QGC (Herelink Controller)

Oftentimes, internet is not easily accessible on job sites. This guide will show you how to download maps in advance so that you can load the map without internet connection.

To create an offline map, click on the QGC icon and go to the “Offline Maps” menu.

click "Add new set". Which will take you to the page shown below.

From here you can name your set as well as specify the zoom levels you want to cache. Move the map to the position you want to cache and then set the zoom levels and click Download to cache the tiles.

Now, the new offline map is downloaded and saved in the Herelink.
