How to Control the Gimbal and Camera
Control will be different depending on whether you have set up dual operator mode or single operator mode (standard).
Manual Operation
Single Operator Mode
Use the scroll wheel (top left) on the Herelink to move the pitch axis of the gimbal up and down. Use the CAM button (top right) on the Herelink to take a picture manually. Yaw the aircraft to control the yaw orientation of the camera/gimbal.
If you have the MavCam app installed on your Herelink, you can also bring up the on-screen joystick to control the pitch and yaw movement of the gimbal. If you want to re-center the camera, click the re-center button.
Dual Operator Mode
Use the right joystick on the slave controller to control the yaw and pitch of the payload. Use the CAM button on the slave controller to take a picture.
Automatic Operation
Do not operate the manual controls if you wish to use automated operation. Please see the next section for this process.
