Fuel Type

The recommended octane rating of the fuel is 91 (RON 95). In general, almost all U.S. gasoline is blended with 10% ethanol, and the Hybrid Module has been configured more specifically for this mixture. If you use gasoline with no ethanol, the only consequence will be that the engine runs slightly richer, which may have a small influence on the maximum power, but will result in lower engine temperatures, which is safer for the longevity of the engine.
