# Hardware Setup
If you purchase the AerialOGI setup together with the X55, the damping plate and electrical connections will have already been installed and preconfigured for your use. In this case, skip to step 3. Otherwise, if you are installing the AerialOGI setup on your existing X55, follow all steps.
* Install the damping plate to the 12mm rails of the X55.
* Connect the communication and power cables to the specified ports listed below.

* Attach the OGI payload to the quick-release mount. Line up the white marks on the payload and the quick-release mount.
* Secure the payload by twisting the quick-release mount until the white mark is in the locked position.
* Remove the len cap from the OGI payload.
* Hardware setup completed.
